Recently I have watched lot of interview with anti-gunners and the one think I have almost consistently seen is they have absolutely no idea what they want to ban.  Almost none of them could accurately describe an "assault rifle".  They have no idea how it work and the capability of what is can be used for.  They all most always say no one needs and assault rifle because they feel you don't.  When did come to a point that we can only have what we need or what others think you need and not just want?  What arrogance they have to dictate what others should have because of their own ignorance and hatreds,  Try and ask them what an AR is and see the confusion in their eyes when you tan and hold them down to a definition.  They will almost always go back tow the inaccurate definition they heard on some media site.  Try and educate them and see the anger in their eyes because you questioned them.

What is gun control really about as no criminals will abide by laws and will do crimes as that is the nature of criminals.  Gun control is about control and taking the ability of law abiding citizens to protect themselves.  What would they want that?  Why wasn't this gun control passed with the left had two of the branches in government?  My guess is they know it will not work.  It is a talking point to pretend to do something about crime without really putting the responsibility on those doing the crime and hold them accountable for it.  That might loose them some votes.  

There is also a lot of money on both side of the debate with people sending money to politicians to promote their cause.  So as long as the debate keeps going the money will continue to come in to them. 

So what do we do?  Do we try and educate the anti-gunners about what the Second is about and why it is importance to the rest of the Bill of Rights?  Do we show them the history of what might happen if the government has total control of the population and has not real reason to fear the citizens?  Do we just site back and stock up for the possibility of an SHTF event and just protect our own and let the gangs take over those cities where their civilians have been disarmed?  I have a great license plate the I have sitting my room.  "God created man but Sam Colt made all men equal".  imagine if that is taken away, or tired to be taken away.
